Admissions and Visits

Thinking of joining our adventure?

We warmly welcome prospective families to visit Amington Heath, meet our team and see our school in action. Please contact the school office to arrange a visit.

Can my child join nursery?

Children can join Amington Heath Nursery from the age of two, subject to availability. Children can be admitted throughout the school year and families are warmly invited to visit us before applying.

A range of funded childcare entitlements may be available, including:

  • funded childcare for eligible working parents
  • Think2 funding for eligible two-year-olds
  • universal funded early education for all three- and four-year-olds

Eligibility and the number of funded hours available depend on your child’s age and family circumstances. Funded entitlements usually begin from the term following the relevant birthday or eligibility date.

Families can also pay for additional nursery sessions, subject to availability.

If you would like to enquire about a Nursery place, please contact the school office on 01827 337465 or complete our Nursery Enquiry Form and a member of the team will get back to you.

Further information about funded childcare and eligibility is available from Staffordshire County Council.

Our Nursery Admissions Policy explains how Nursery places at Amington Heath are allocated.
