School Meals

Healthy, tasty lunches at Amington Heath

Children can enjoy a freshly prepared school meal each day, with a range of options available. Our catering team know our children well and are able to support individual dietary requirements and allergies.

Our school meals are provided by Compass Group and currently cost £3.25 per meal for children who are not entitled to a free school meal.

Nursery

Children attending our governor-run nursery can either have a school dinner or bring a packed lunch from home.

Nursery school meals cost £3.25 per meal. Children attending our governor-run nursery are not eligible for Free School Meals.

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal every day through Universal Infant Free School Meals.

If your family may also qualify for income-assessed Free School Meals, we strongly encourage you to apply even though your child’s meals are already free. A successful application can provide additional funding to support your child in school.

Packed Lunches

Children are welcome to bring a packed lunch from home. We encourage families to provide a balanced lunch that will give children the energy they need for a busy school day.

Please do not include fizzy or energy drinks, sweets or chocolate bars in packed lunches.

Please also avoid peanuts and products containing peanuts to help us keep children with allergies safe.
